Half of you are like, oh not another "blender" post, the other half is like yey blender posts are cool. Some are just happy I'm posting at all. Which ever you are, you are getting your wish.

I'm now teaching one of the youth Blender and he's picking it up kinda quickly, but the biggest barrier for him was the lack of a real mouse, he's never used a touch pad before.  So most of it was him adjusting to it.  So next week I'll be prepared for that.  

Anyway this picture is brought to you by the youth lock-in where I goofed off on blender to show how cool it is (or how cool I am) either case it was fun to make, and I wanted to share it with y'all. 

The Darker Side

I got home and I had a desire to try to create a room in 3d.  And for some reason it ended up very dark and sinister.  This wasn't the plan.  The walls were going to be blue, the carpet red, the light bright.... but somehow just leaving the lamp as the only light source looked cool.  After that I decided to change everything to red and black.  

Welcome to the round table of DOOOOOOM!

So that you wouldn't think I'm a dark and evil person I got to work on a happier one.  This project turned into a learning experiance with lighting.  And I thought I was going to do some hard core modeling.  

Maybe I'll keep this one going and add details like pictures and TVs on the wall, maybe another lamp.  Pillows would be a neet touch as well.  Hmm... we'll see, but here's the product of tonights work.

I want to get back into HTML, but I'm also still learning some things with Blender. Here's the latest render.

Lets see who the first one to find the flaw is. It was fun to make the little holes for the dots, however I didn't learn too much new on this render.
